Taylor Made Tours commenced back in April 1997 by Simon Taylor and his team. The first trip was a 7 day Seniors coach tour to Mildura and the Mighty Murray River.
The company is excited to announce the family name will continue, as Simon’s brother Adam has acquired the business. The family trait is strong, as we all share a love for Travel, Geography, History and most importantly, engaging with people to ensure they have a wonderful time on our tours..
All the itineraries are designed accordingly with the active senior in mind, being very conscious of the amount of travelling that is done each day. The company has realised over many years that it is important to arrive at each night’s accommodation mid afternoon. This gives everyone time to retire to their rooms, freshen up, have a quick kip or a swim, make a cup of tea or go for a walk before joining everyone for dinner.
We have decided not to own coaches also, as we would rather be known as tours operators and not coach operators. This gives us the freedom and flexibility to tour all around Australia and use the best local coach companies, with the best local drivers for our tours. The tours are always fully escorted, normally by Adam and his wife Tania or one of his team leaders.
