AUSTRALIAN COACH TOURS FOR SENIORS.
Taylor Made Tours Pty Ltd commenced back in April 1997 by Simon Taylor & his team. The first trip was a 7 day Seniors coach tour to Mildura and the Mighty Murray River.
Over the last 27 years, the company has completed over 500 Australian Coach tours for seniors to such diverse places as the Great Ocean Road, Kangaroo Island, Broken Hill & NSW Outback, The Corner Country, Eyre Peninsula & the Gawler Rangers, the Outback of North Queensland, the Gulf of Carpentaria & The Whitsundays, Cape York & the Torres Strait Islands, Fraser Island & The Coral Coast, Western Australia Wildflowers, The Nullabor, Tasmania, King Island, The Melbourne Cup, Australian Tennis Open, The Kimberley (Bungles Bungles), The Red Centre, Flinders Ranges & Lake Eyre, Barramundi Fishing in the Northern Territory. The overseas tours have included New Zealand, Norfolk Island, Canada & Alaska, Eastern Canada & USA, Borneo & Brunei, Europe & River Cruising, Lord Howe Island, The Cook Islands, Samoa & Fiji.
The company is delighted to announce the family name will continue, as Simon’s brother Adam, has acquired the business. The family trait is strong, as we all share a love for Travel, Geography, History and most importantly engaging with People to ensure they have a good time.
The tours are fully escorted and are designed for active seniors and are all inclusive of luxury coach travel, ensuite motel accommodation, airfares (when applicable), all excursion fees, most meals a day and wonderful attractions. The accommodation is from 3 to 5 star with a restaurant on site. This allows their passengers to retire to their room when it suits them.
All the itineraries are designed accordingly with the active senior in mind, being very conscious of the amount of travelling that is done each day. The company has realised over many years that it is important to arrive at each night’s accommodation mid afternoon. This gives everyone time to retire to their rooms, freshen up, have a quick kip or a swim, make a cup of tea or go for a walk before joining everyone for dinner.
We have decided not to own coaches, as we rather be known as tours operators and not coach operators. This gives us the freedom & flexibility to tour all around Australia and use the best local coach companies, with the best local drivers for our tours. The tours are always fully escorted, normally by Adam & his wife Tania or one of his team leaders.
